(Child Resilience Inclusion Social Pathway)
We have been fortunate to receive significant funding from Orbit Housing to start a new group for young people aged 8 to 17 years living in Bexley.
The group is for young people who may be struggling with engagement in the local community, education or peer relationships, which is either already impacting or may in future have a significant impact on their lives and prospects.
This is a 12 week programme, supporting up to 20 young people, some of whom may have additional needs.
The 3 main areas of work are resilience, healthy living and social communication skills, all delivered by way of workshops, trust exercises and games.
The aim of the group is to improve social understanding and build resilience enabling the young people to cope with the situations they are finding difficult and are causing them to withdraw or act inappropriately.
If you know of a young person who could benefit from the support of the CRISP group, please contact us at the office on 0208 304 9609, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or download a referral from our website www.bexleymoorings.co.uk
